Heartbreaker

Know a musician partial to a bit of slap-bass wankery? Give them a slap from us – unless they’re one of these Brit electro dudes. ‘Heartbreaker’ is a masterclass in how to transform a coterie of terminally annoying components – ’80s sax, nose flutes, that slap – into a dancefloor-quaking monster. Understated, but oddly incendiary.
