Iglu & Hartly

In This City

Iglu & Hartly are unreconstructed West Coast beach-bum cheesemongers of the most shameless order, and ‘In This City’ is as brazen as the ’80s revival can get with its sparkly splonks of Pretty Woman synths and a chorus that must have dropped off the bottom of Starship in 1986. But what a chorus it is; the sort of joyful pop bearhug you’d lick blended strawberries off the nipples of, if only you didn’t get a nasty aftertaste of Deep Heat.

You gotta be kidding with 8 out of ten an easy contender for the worst tune of the year. So amazingly dated and so awlful its funny 1/10.

I don't know what's more laughable, the song or the fact that it got 8/10. Let's be honest, it's so bad it's almost unbelievable.

It's vaguely catchy more of 6/10 tune surely.

I like this review, but final score 6/10 or a generous 7 would be more relevant, the chorus is good but the verses make you wish you had nipples where youre ears should be so you wouldnt have to bare another moment.
