Full line-up has been revealed

Jimmy Buffett, The Black Crowes and Trey Anastasio have been announced to play the 2008 Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island this summer.

The festival, which runs August 1-3 will feature an acoustic performance from Anastasio, as well as sets from Cat Power, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Richie Havens and She & Him.

This will be the 49th year of the festival which will take place at historic Fort Adams State Park in Newport, RI.

Previous years have seen performances from the likes of Joan Baez, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Pixies, Bright Eyes and Wilco.
