The Cribs get manhandled by Mark E Smith – Tabloid Hell

Little did they know... The Cribs played their bloodiest show ever last week, and we've got the full news report on their exploits. Ouch.

The Fall legend gets violent with the Wakefield lads

The Cribs were subjected to some mild violence at the hand of a middle-aged rock legend at an awards ceremony on Monday (June 16).

The Fall's Mark E Smith apparently 'attacked' the Wakefield group after they presented him with an award.

The temperamental singer became irate after he was asked to pose for photos with the Jarman brothers.

According to XFM, Smith then pushed them off the podium and demanded that photos of him alone were taken.

The frontman's temperamental nature has been well documented, and The Fall have been through nearly 50 members in their thirty-year history.

Love The Cribs and love Mark E Smith. Although I disagree with his childish behaviour, I still find it quite funny. He is a true one-off and individual and even seems to stand alone (literally) when it comes to photographs.

Maybe he'd heard The Cribs? That would account for this little ruck...
