Modfather says that's when you get a heroin habit

Paul Weller has said retiring doesn't mean you have to slow down.

Weller, who released his album '22 Dreams' this Monday (June 2), insisted letting things slip is when you get a heroin habit.

He told CMU Daily : "Retirement? What the fuck? That's when you get into heroin, when you're 70. And Viagra. I'll inhale the stuff. Out with a bang."

Weller then said he wouldn't mind turning out like one of the Rolling Stones.

He revealed: "I wouldn't mind being Mick Jagger. He's skinny, still has hair and shags loads of birds."

If you're in any doubt over how much of a sh*t Weller is, read this article and then look at the picture. I love that he has to make these comments in order to preserve fame. Bye bye career.

Itsverymalty, have you ever heard of the word 'irony'? And what has the way that someone looks got to do with it? Your 'bye bye career' statement has got to be worth a comment too. This guy has been knocking out albums for over 30 years and he's just come up with his best work since he split The Jam up. He'll be following that with a sold out arena tour in the autumn. I wish my career was as bad as his........ Anyway, you keep listening to your Killers, Fratellis, Coldplay CD's and in that way we'll never meet up.
