Madonna releases statement following her teenage son’s cannabis arrest

Rocco Ritchie, 16, was reportedly arrested in London during September

Madonna has responded to reports that her son was arrested in September for possession of cannabis.

Reports surfaced on Wednesday (November 23), alleging that Rocco, 16 (pictured below), was detained in London on September 28 after police found cannabis in his rucksack.

The singer has since released a statement to The Associated Press, which seemingly confirms the reports while calling the situation a “family matter”.
