Gorillaz have been added to the Creamfields 08 line-up.

The 'cartoon' group will play under the Gorillaz Sound System moniker.

The soundsystem experience will feature 360-degree Gorillaz visuals delivered from 20 old-school projectors accompanying four DJs.

The dance music festival will take place on August 23-24 in Daresbury, Halton, Cheshire.

Cut Copy, Clik Clik, Freelance Hellraiser, David E Sugar, Cassette Jam, Rich Reason, Tom Piper and Brendon Long have also been added to the bill.

Also, the BBC Introducing Bus will feature unsigned acts and some Radio 1 DJs.

The event is being headlined by Kasabian. To check the availability of Creamfields tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/GIGS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
