Eugene McGuinness helps get Park Stage going at Glastonbury

Eugene McGuinness helped get proceedings underway on the Park Stage at this year's Glastonbury this morning (June 27).

The Emily Eavis-curated stage, launched for the first time last year, has returned with one of the strongest line-ups at this year's festival, with the likes of CSS and Franz Ferdinand due to appear on it over the weekend (June 27-29).

Playing to an early crowd, McGuinness took to the stage solo, performing the likes of 'Fonz', 'Nightshift' and 'Bold Street'.

Praising the fans who'd braved the muddy conditions to make it to the set, McGuinness admitted he wasn't really one for roughing it.

"I feel like I've aged ten years after one night's sleep in a tent," he told the crowd.
