Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Oasis' Noel Gallagher has hit back at Status Quo's Francis Rossi, who said Liam Gallagher looked "bored shitless" on stage.

From the papers:

'The Mighty Boosh''s Noel Fielding demanded a bathtub filled with chips, cheese and gravy at the Malmaison hotel as part of his rider (Daily Star).

The Pigeon Detectives had a dance-off at the Nice And Sleazy's club in Glasgow (Daily Star).

Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts went on a rollercoaster at the Winter Wonderland attraction at London's Hyde Park Various).

The Strokes' Albert Hammond, Jr. went for a stroll in New York with his squeeze, Agyness Deyn – and their "his 'n' hers" little dogs (Daily Star).

Chester French's Max Drummey and his wife, Peaches Geldof, had a screaming match at the Gramaphone bar in London. "I'm bored of all this," he sighed, before heading off (The Sun).

The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood fawned over girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova and her puppy as he switched on some Christmas lights in north London (Daily Star).

Madonna has been clearing her London pad of all pictures of her ex Guy Ritchie – and has deleted their answerphone message (Daily Mirror).

From NME.COM users:

"The View played their first ever encore to home fans last night (November 1) with a cover of The Beatles' 'Twist And Shout'. The Dundee band were playing at the town's club venue Fat Sams for the final night of the current tour."

It's true... Liam always looks like he would sooner be somewhere else then playing a gig!! The guy has no stage presents, he just stands there for 2hrs... Noel ain't much better either. If i had to watch that i would want to be somewhere else too!!

why do we get idiots on NME.com that say Liam and Noel dont have any stage presents? If you go and see Oasis you cant actually take your eyes off Liam, even tho he dont do much, thats why hes so good!!! what do you want him to do??? back flips??

I have been quite blunt about oasis on here before, but they do have stage presence. By definition, presence is about being able to be on stage and command, not necessarily about what you do. Less can often be more. Mind you think Noel's Status Quo comments are a bit like the sort of thing that could come back to haunt him later on...

"If you go and see Oasis you cant actually take your eyes off Liam, even tho he dont do much, thats why hes so good!!!"I think you and i have very different ideas about what is good? As i mentioned before, i dont find two guys on stage looking bored for two hours appealing. Its abit like watching paint dry with some music in the background. When i see a band i prefer abit more crowd Acknowledgement and movement around the stage, to keep things fresh. The fact that Francis RossiI has also made the same comment, shows im not alone in this opinion... So you going to start calling him an idiot? Your choice.... I do agree however that some some songs do require less movement then others.

What are stage presents? They sound cool, I want one, but I think you mean stage presence. And yes, Oasis have none. If the Galaghers put as much effort into writing music as they do into insulting people, we might actually have a good band on our hands

Stage Presents? - he is not fucking santa Times UP you prick, Presence was what you were looking for, also what do u want him to do put a gold jacket on and dance around like sone nonce? liam gallagher is the best front man of the 90's and probably this decade you moron

I don't think they have any stage presents, but one could argue that the aura they create and Liam's unnerving passiveness on stage does give them a certain stage PRESCENCE.

What a stupid comment to make. Did he never stop to think that there's a reason Quo are in their old age? Maybe because they've been enjoying success for over 40 years now?But then Noel is a prick at the best of times. Oasis really aren't hardcore enough to justify him going around and saying whatever the fuck he likes about whoever the fuck he likes.
