Coldplay have confirmed they will release their fourth album, 'Viva La Vida', on June 16.

The album was recorded in London, Barcelona and New York with producers Brian Eno and Markus Dravs.

The tracklisting of 'Viva La Vida' is:

someone needs to stop Chris Martin from naming anything on any more of their albums...it's seriously degrading their music, even if it's good.Chris Martin tries WAY too hard.

parachutes was a good album, rush of blood to the head had 4 or 5 good songs, XnY was shit so my guessis more than likely this 1 will be really shit

Chris Martin obviously isn't blessed with creating good song/album titles. After all, wasn't it him who told R.E.M. to name the song "Supernatural Superserious"? Oh dear.

I love coldplay, not ashamed to say it.Looking at some the posts on this and previous news item, there are a lot of sad people with no real constructive comments who can't accept peoples different tastes in music and that we like to listen to bands other than they like. How very narrow minded, and no, i am not a teenager i am a mature woman and i am a guitarist. Coldplay are very good musicians.

Camneel152 fair play to you, I am guitarist as well and I would agree that Coldplay are very very good musicians and I can't wait for the new album. I do find it annoying when people post on here or the Oasis thread slagging of the bands, if you don't like the band you shouldn't post on that thread.

I love coldplay too and i think the album title and the track titles sound awesome. I love their stadium anthems but i wish they would make another Parachutes style album.
