BAD DAY FOR KNIGHT

LAPD 'tecs raid Death Row's offices and officially name Knight as suspect...

MARION 'SUGE' KNIGHT, CEO of Death Row Records has been fingered as a suspect in the murder of Notorious BIG by Los Angeles Police Department.

On Tuesday, police siezed a 1995 Impala from Death Row's offices in Beverley Hills that matches the description of a car sought in connnection with Biggie's murder two years ago.

Knight himself was behind bars at the time of the shooting, so he is not a suspect in the actual shooting. Rumours of an East Coast vs West Coast rap war abounded at the time; it was suggested that Biggie was shot in retaliation for the murder of Death Row recording artist Tupac Shakur.

Knight, currently serving a nine year jail term for assault, is beinmg investigated for conspiracy in hirinmg the gunman.

Knight's lawyers are expected to issue a statement today.
