This is a weak line-up, but the music industry is reaping what they've sowed.Music is in a poor state. And NME is partly to blame. Jumping on a bandwagon, and then destroying a band's reputation a month later, is not journalism. It's lazy, and it's insulting.Promoting bands like The Cribs, The Hoosiers, The Fratelli's etc has led to a line-up like Glasto's.Music has to be better than the glorified pub rock that is being peddled right now. There are few great bands emerging. Where is the new Suede? The new Oasis? The new Smiths? The new New Order? Etc. It's not happening. Maybe we're all to blame. I don't know, but until someone takes the bull by the horns, we should all get used to weak line-ups like this one.
